6370.space is a revolutionary survival movement that aims to redefine the values of all 8 billion Earthlings through impactful and transformative experiences, ultimately saving both the planet and the human race.

Inspired by the enduring nature of religion systems, which have surpassed dynasties and transcended cultures, 6370.space harnesses their strength and resilience.

Each of the recruited individuals will undergo the rite of passage, followed by the task of impacting individuals around by sharing the frist-hand experience.

The Overview Effect

The Overview Effect refers to a profound cognitive shift reported by astronauts during spaceflight. When they witness our planet from the depths of space, they feel an unwavering duty to safeguard this delicate blue sphere indefinitely. Coined by Frank White, this term captures a state of awe imbued with self-transcendence, triggered by visually captivating stimuli.

Common aspects experienced by individuals who have beheld Earth from space include a deep appreciation for its beauty, unexpected and overpowering emotions, and an intensified sense of interconnectedness with others and the planet as a whole. Initially, the true Overview Effect experienced from deep space, due to its high costs, will be limited to the Enigma and Alycotes. However, as the cost of space travel decreases in the coming decades, our goal is to make this profound experience accessible to a broader audience.

The next 300K people, the Prophets and The Guardians will experience the Overview Effect from Low Earth Orbit, using state-of-the-art carbon-neutral stratospheric spaceships, like these pioneered by Space Perspective

The Alternatives

Researchers have recognized that awe-based experiences—such as interaction with nature, religious or spiritual or mystical experiences, meditation, and peak and flow experiences during high task performance—can change a person and promote the feeling of unity or interconnectedness.

Initially, approximately 50 to 300 million of Shepherds will undergo the right of passage in a milder form, combining psychedelic, mystical and natural experiences under close guidance of the higher tier alumni.
